President / CEO of Montecito Aviation Group, www.montecitohangars.com. Chip brings 35 plus years of executive business experience to his work. He is currently working with a highly skilled group of business executives in identifying General aviation real estate opportunities, where a severe capital imbalance has prevented aviation infrastructure from keeping pace with market demand.

In 1976, he started Golden State Construction, a successful commercial and residential development company. That business thrived under his leadership until 1982 when he partnered with another successful entrepreneur in a start up software and Technology Company.

TISCOR (Tomorrow’s Integrated Systems Corporation) was founded in Poway, California in 1982 and grew into a highly successful operation with more than 100 associates. The company had more than 5,000 clients worldwide including 50 of the Fortune 100 and many local, state and federal governments. Chip was TISCOR’s founding President and Chief Executive Officer.

In 2002, TISCOR was acquired by Brady Company a NYSE corporation. Chip built a successful transition team that took operational control of TISCOR at the end 2004.

While building and operating TISCOR, Chip was also involved in his community and his church. He is a founding director of Ramona National Bank, now “Bank of Southern California” a federally chartered bank. He was on the founding board of John 8:31, a Christian Ministry located in San Diego, CA. founded by Past President and Founder of Racers for Christ Ken Owen. He is past president of the Ramona Adult Softball Association. In 2005, Chip was deeply moved by the disrupted lives he witnessed after Hurricane Katrina. In a response to the tragedy on the Gulf Coast, he joined with a business partner in founding Community of Faith Ministries Inc., a faith based IRS registered 501 c 3 non profit. He has been an avid car enthusiast his whole life and became involved in local drag racing in the late 60s and early 70’s while in high school. In 2000 Chip decided to start racing again and purchased a 1963 Chevy Nova that was the start to his NHRA racing passion. He progressed to run super gas and super comp, then was one of the original Top Comp class racers on the West Coast which eventually changed to Top Sportsman and Top Dragster. Chip raced two cars in both classes and won the Top Sportsman Championship in 2011 along with other divisional wins. In 2007 Chip was named by NHRA Division 7 Person of the Year for his work in Mississippi after hurricane Katrina.

In 2000 Chip was introduced to Rev. Jim Jack from Racers for Christ. Over the course of the next 15 years Jim and Chip have become very close friends. In 2013, Chip was asked to become a RFC board member. He was very excited to help this wonderful ministry as he feels it is so vitally important to racers and spectators to have church services at racing and car events across this wonderful country.

Chip has been married to his wife, Jean, for more than 35 years. They have two grown children Wini and CJ with one granddaughter. He is a licensed private pilot and a member of AOPA. His recreational interests include scuba diving, flying and racing, restoring his classic cars. He resides in Ramona, California. He and Jean have additional residences in Florida and Mississippi.
