FACING THE
OVERWHELMING
Sometimes, the task at hand
looks overwhelming. There are folks with serious illness, addictions,
divorce; and so many have never figured out how to call on Jesus. How do you
think David felt when he faced the giant, seasoned fighter as a young man
with only a sling shot and five smooth stones?
The same way we need to today,
if God is on our side the enemy can be defeated regardless of its size and
strength. Us with God makes us strong, us without God makes us weak.
Prayer – Blessed Lord as we face the “giants” the enemy
has put in our path, stand with us and give us what we need to be the victor.
And when we win, let us not ever forget to give you all the glory!
