In a year filled with so much uncertainty and turmoil we have seen a lot of pain, helplessness and hopelessness. But, in the midst of it all, we can still find hope and peace. As followers of Jesus, we have hope beyond the struggles and trials of today and we can find peace in God’s presence.
Even as another race season is drawing to a close, the ministry never ceases. We are always available to serve, no matter when or where. God continues to give us opportunities to share about the “peace that passes all understanding” (Philippians 4:7), and the hope we have beyond this world in which we currently reside.
As we look forward to Thanksgiving, let’s remember to “give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV). And, as we prepare to celebrate Christmas and the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NIV).
We are very thankful for our chaplains, office staff, board of directors and ministry partners. Together we continue to fulfill the mission of Racers For Christ and serve the world of motorsports.
Our prayer, as we approach 2021, Team RFC’s 50th Anniversary, is that God will continue to open doors, meet our financial needs, and allow us to continue to train, equip and send chaplains to serve the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of everyone in the world of motorsports.
As the Apostle Paul said to the church in Rome, so I say to you, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Romans 15:13 ESV).
