Ephesians 5:2 – July 14, 2020

Walk in love as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Thought:

Paul challenges the people of Ephesus with considering how they are walking.  Not physically, but spiritually.  In Ephesians 4, he challenged us to “walk worthy of the calling” and now here he is with his next challenge…”walk in love.”  As you examine your daily walk, how are you doing?  I noticed how so many look to there watch or phone to set a “step count” for the day and for good reason, your physical well-being is extremely important.  But…what if you set a “walk count” with todays challenge…Walk in love?  How would you do?  Would the dinger ping at all today?

Love is the bottom line.  Nothing counts without it.  You can’t go anywhere spiritually or in your relationships until you get your love walk straight!

Lord, Your love is truly amazing.  Help me today with my love walk.  Whether it is my words to others or giving of self, may others see YOU in me today.  In Jesus Name…Amen
