Ready, Set, God! is a drag racing-themed Vacation Bible School designed to help kids discover that following Jesus is the greatest race they will ever run. Hosted by RFC Kids during the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing Western Conference Finals at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, this exciting program connects biblical truth to the racing world kids know and love. Throughout the week, kids will learn about the Armor of God, making wise choices, overcoming obstacles through faith, building strong friendships, and staying focused on God’s plan for their lives. Through Bible lessons, games, crafts, and racing-inspired activities, every part of VBS is designed to point children toward Jesus. Our prayer is that kids leave with fun memories, a deeper understanding of God’s love, and a faith that continues to grow long after the week is over.
Chaplains from across the United States are coming together to serve the kids and families at WCF, united by a common mission: to plant seeds of faith that take root both at the track and at home, helping the next generation of racers and racing families know God, love God, and follow Him wherever their race leads. As children race down the dragstrip throughout the week, we hope they learn that while trophies and championships are temporary, a relationship with Jesus is a victory that lasts forever! We are thankful for the incredible support and hospitality of Texas Motorplex and its staff. Whether you’re at WCF to race, cheer on a sibling, or support your family, we invite you to join us! VBS is open to everyone and meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:00–5:00 PM in the Champions Club.
